Portraits are a bit of a puzzler for me. Every time I settle down for a serious attempt. it
ends in disaster. However, on a course one day I was challenged to do a portrait in 5
minutes, and it turned out far better than those I took great care with. So now I do
portrait sketches very quickly, and really enjoy doing them.
